The Official 2009-2010 School Calendar was adopted by the School Board on April 13, 2009.
September 1, 2009: First Student Day
September 3, 2009: First Student Day - Kindergarten
June 3, 2010: High School Graduation, 7:30 p.m.
June 8, 2010: Last Student Day
There will be No School K-12 on the following days:
September 7, 2009: Labor Day
October 15-16, 2009: Education Minnesota/MEA Break
November 6, 2009: Conference Comp/Work Day
November 25, 2009: Conference Comp Day
November 26-27, 2009: Thanksgiving Break
December 21, 2009-January 1, 2010: Winter Break
January 18, 2010: Martin Luther King Jr. Day
January 22, 2010: Work Day
February 15, 2010: Presidents' Day
March 26, 2010: Conference Comp/Work Day
March 29-April 2, 2010: Spring Break
May 31, 2010: Memorial Day
June 9, 2010: Work Day
There will be No School K-6 on the following day (7-12 will be in session):
March 19, 2010: Elementary School Conference Day
The calendar also includes eight (8) Late Start/Early Release days:
October 1, 2009: Early Release
November 12, 2009: Late Start
December 3, 2009: Early Release
January 7, 2010: Late Start
February 4, 2010: Early Release
March 4, 2010: Late Start
April 29, 2010: Early Release
May 27, 2010: Late Start
Additional opportunities and activities are being developed to address childcare needs on Late Start/Early Release days. Information will be forthcoming.
