Critical Outcomes
This information has been designed to provide information about the critical outcomes for students in grades K-12. Elementary outcomes outline the expectations for students at each grade level. They will show what students are learning and what each learner needs to know in each subject.

Outcomes for secondary students are arranged by subject matter and will be posted as they become available.

Our District mission ensures "that all students attain the highest level of achievement and become contributing members of society... and challenges each learner to meet high standards within a safe environment."

Our goal is for all students to be the best they can be.

Student Achievement Data
Student achievement is measured in a variety of ways, including standardized tests such as the Minnesota Comprehensive Assessments - Series II (MCA-II), and Measures of Academic Progress (MAP).

St. Louis Park Public Schools also reports data in accordance with the new state reporting system that is a requirement of the federal No Child Left Behind legislation.

High expectations for students are an ongoing focus throughout the district and at the senior high school. Assessment data from sources such as the Advanced Placement Program, International Baccalaureate Diploma Program, American College Testing Program's ACT and the National Merit Scholarship Program indicate excellent student performance.
